Western Vs. Asian Leadership Style On Teams Performance 1 Year After A Merger of 2 Companies

The article explores the influence of different leadership styles (western and south east Asian) when managing teams and which is more successful 1 year after the merger process has finished. Since the leadership styles are different, one can expect that the host company will have difficulties to adapt to new expectations, meaning the success of the team will be influenced. What has not been explored is, if the team leaders of acquiring company are willing to change their leadership styles in order to make their teams more successful. Here we also explore how success of a team is perceived in both regions.
